Well I wrote it, so I'd like to say, that when you ask the people of Keene "Tell me a ghost story" they WILL! Picking just a few for the book was difficult. The ones here are stories told by more than one person, in other words, not just a story one person knew. Also, some of the stories were "verified" by studying the history of Keene. All in all, a fun addition to the folklore of the area. The illustrations alone are worth viewing. While some are funny, and some are spooky, and some are very sad, the book highlights the delight New Englanders take in having a ghost around.Product details
